The Fender x MoFi Precision Deck Limited Edition is a turntable designed by two music manufacturers with heritage and prestige. The founder of Fender -Leo Fender- once designed a turntable and sold the design to fund his company. Now Fender has teamed up with MoFi to recreate their founding fathers ambition with the PrecisionDeck. The turntable base - designed by masterbuilder Yuriy Shishkov - is made from the same swamp ash wood that Fender make their guitars from and its finished with a signature three-colour sunburst design - just like the legendary Precision bass guitar. Once the base is finished by Fender they ship it off to the MoFi factory in Michigan where it is carefully assembled.
MoFi has based the Precision Deck on their immensely popular UltraDeck which has won multiple awards globally. The entire design is resonance treated so that no feedback can interfere with your listening experience. The heavy 3.1kg POM platter is belt-driven via a 300RPM isolated AC synchronous motor that ensures rotational speed and pitch stability. A 10-inch aluminium straight tonearm is fitted to a stable tonearm assembly that allows you to adjust azimuth VTA and anti-skating. It is equipped with a MoFi MasterTracker moving magnet phono cartridge that tracks records impeccably and transmits pure audio signals to the tonearm. This turntable is a one in 1000 numbered collectable for HiFi lovers who want a piece of musical history.
