Ortofon SH-4 Black Universal Headshell

The Ortofon SH-4 headshell is an SME-connected turntable headshell that can be equipped with any standard HiFi or DJ cartridge. An improved finger lift allows you to lift the stylus off of the record with ease and less chance of touching the vinyl and the shorter streamlined construction gives the headshell and cartridge a low profile. Fitted with balanced headshell leads the SH-4 comes ready to equip your cartridge to your turntable.

Easily attach any standard Phono cartridge to the SH-4 it can be used for both DJ cartridges such as the Ortofon VNL and Ortofon Pro S or HiFi cartridges such as the Ortofon 2M moving magnet or the MC Quintet moving coil series. Attach your desired cartridge to the SH-4 via two 3mm and place it between 35mm and 45mm distance from the connection pins. The SME connector of the SH-4 means that it will be compatible with most Industry standard turntables and will fit securely on all SME tonearms. The sleek finish of the SH-4 makes for an aesthetically pleasing and ergonomic headshell suitable for all applications.
