Versatile mallet. One of Tom Gaugers personal favourites. The Tom Gauger Staccato Bass Drum Mallet features a medium head for a full but articulate sound. Somewhere in between the TG1 and TG7 in terms of hardness you can achieve a huge sound while also getting soft and dark articulation at quiet levels. This makes them a great all-around pair.Developed by Tom Gauger of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Vic Firths bass drum mallet combines a seamless round felt head with a tapered maple handle. This provides a deep dark sound while maintaining a lightweight feel.
