Masterwork's cymbals are produced in the traditional way in Istanbul, Turkey. This city has since been renamed the capital of cymbals as we know them today. The cymbals are cast, hammered and sheared by an experienced cymbal smith. For this splash, the blacksmith uses a B25 alloy, consisting of 25 per cent tin and 75 per cent copper. This gives the Troy Thin Splash a sparkling character. The hammering balances the character and gives the cymbal a slightly darker and brighter character. This splash from the Masterwork Troy series is known for its high quality, at a fine price and a quality standard on par with its peers. In addition, Masterwork is one of the few cymbal manufacturers that adjusts the size of the cup a the diameter of the cymbal. This ensures that this splash also sounds like a real splash.
