The EVO By Audient SP8 - 8 Channel Smart Preamp with AD/DA builds on the success and design of the EVO 16 providing you with a high-end mic preamp designed to be the centrepiece of your studio setup. The Audient EVO SP8 provides ultra-low latency performance delivering pristine sound thanks to the 24-bit/192kHz audio resolution. The eight EVO mic pres deliver exceptional warmth whilst remaining accurate and nuanced providing up to 58dB of gain range. You can record both instruments and vocals thanks to the built-in Phantom Power and JFET input.

Incorporating all the groundbreaking features of the EVO 16 the SP8 also includes eight line outputs as well as two optical I/O connections with ADAT. It also features a word clock input for syncing up external gear with the analog preamp. The new and improved design features a streamlined user interface in the form of Motion. Featuring a crisp high-resolution display the Motion UI provides real-time feedback on your settings and I/O connectivity. Providing full-colour metering and a customisable function button you can adjust your workflow to suit your own needs. A simple one-knob control allows you to cycle between hardware features and settings with ease.

One of the most groundbreaking features is the Smartgain Mode which automatically sets the level of your microphones for the best possible sound. This makes setting up and recording quicker and easier than ever. Designed for studios; the EVO SP8 preamp can be rack-mounted using the optional brackets (not included) so it can be integrated within your current rack setup. The EVO SP8 preamp also comes complete with a Cubase LE and powerful plugins providing everything you need to start recording music.
