Zildjian K Family Light Ride 22-inch Cymbal

Measuring 22 inches in diameter, this Zildjian K Family Light Ride delivers a smooth, all-round sound. The stick definition is good, transitioning fairly quickly to a wash that some describe as 'smoky' - in other words, coated. This sounds strange, until you actually hear the ride. Like all cymbals in the K-series, this ride also features extensive (hand) hammer and groove patterns. In this case, this produces a dark sound with lots of overtones - partly because of this, it can be used in small acoustic settings, but also holds up well in a loudly amplified rock formation. Because the ride quickly transitions to a wash, it is also perfectly crashable.
