Thanks to its active design complete with a time delay microcontroller the HotShot 48V ensures completely silent switching with no audible pops or artifacts when you hit the switch. An unnoticeable 5ms delay occurs when the switching relay is activated ensuring any DC leakage is effectively dissipated. The HotShot 48V can be used with condenser mics thanks to the 48V phantom power switch on the rear panel and it works just as well for dynamic microphones too.
