Favoured by musical legends such as Queen Paul McCartney Depeche Mode and many more GForce Software has meticulously preserved the beloved classic hardware tones of the OB-X while integrating a wide range of modern features making it a versatile tool for various genres including Electronica EDM Drum and Bass Ambient Rock Prog Rock and Hip Hop.
Drawing on their extensive experience the engineers at GForce have painstakingly modelled the original OB-X faithfully reproducing its two oscillators 2-pole resonant lowpass filter amplifier and two envelope generators per voice. In addition they have enhanced this classic synth with a host of powerful new features. The OB-X now offers X-Modifiers dedicated LFOs and ADSRs for nearly all parameters taking its sound design capabilities to new heights.
With the intuitive X-LFO and X-ADSR sections you can work faster and more efficiently without setting up complex modulation paths as they are already preconfigured for you. The X-Mods further expand your sonic possibilities allowing you to create intricate and musical modulations of almost every parameter. While the heart of the OB-X remains true to its original tone and character the added features transform it into a true sonic canvas.
