The Heritage Audio Super 8 features eight 73-style preamps backed up by Carnhill transformers, where all eight channels can be fed microphone or line signals while the first and second channel also accommodate Hi-Z instruments. The analogue outputs come in the form of balanced XLR inputs plus a DB25 port and, thanks to the built-in ADC return, you've got an FX loop at your disposal for sending signals through an EQ or compressor (neither comes included) before the audio is converted. Speaking of conversion, the Super 8 comes polished off with an ADAT output as well as an AES output that doubles as an S/PDIF port.
