The Tube MP/C is a bit like a multi-stage rocket, where the first stage offers a +20dB switch for boosting weak input signals and less sensitive microphones. The next stage is formed by a +40dB gain pot, and the last stage made up of a output trim control, which gives you the option to tweak the degree of valve saturation to taste without overdriving the converters inside your audio interface, plus an opto compressor complete with soft knee and automatic release functionality to counter missteps.
