The Technics SL-1500CS is a direct drive turntable system designed for precise stable vinyl playback with minimal maintenance. Building on the legacy of the SL-1500C it introduces advanced Delta Sigma-Drive digital motor control to reduce rotational irregularities and suppress motor vibration. A coreless direct drive motor ensures consistent speed accuracy while the two-layer aluminium platter with integrated damping helps minimise unwanted resonance for cleaner sound reproduction.
Designed for ease of use without compromising performance the SL-1500CS features a built-in phono stage and comes supplied with a pre-installed Ortofon 2M Red cartridge for plug-and-play operation. The aluminium S-shaped tonearm uses a high-precision gimbal bearing for accurate tracking while the auto-lift function raises the tonearm at the end of a record to reduce stylus wear.
