Fender Eric Johnson Signature Stratocaster pickups (Set of 3)

In developing this trio of pickups, Fender have worked closely with master-guitarist and tone-connoisseur, Eric Johnson. This full pack of signature Strat pickups hold the key to that characteristically outspoken sound in a kind of fusion between Leo Fender's guitar-based craftsmanship and Johnson's acutely modern and demanding audio-based tastes. Every one of the three pickups is unique in terms of both construction and performance. The neck pickup has been based on a '54 Strat and therefore fitted with oversized Alnico 3 magnets; the middle pickup is a replica of a '63 Strat complete with specially treated Alnico magnets and finished with reverse winding to counter the resulting hum, and the bridge pickup has been completed by a set of more modern Alnico 5 magnets. This mighty and meaty, and insanely dynamic set of single-coils strikes that sweet balance between cleanly voiced notes, sparkling high-range definition, and that more rough and raw Stratocaster edge.
