SSL SubGen is a subharmonic generator plug-in which offers vast tonal sculpting possibilities. Its four independently configurable bands can generate frequencies an octave lower than the source signal delivering powerful sub-bass to snares kicks and bass with ease. Whether youre looking to add rumble to thin-sounding tracks or augment poorly recorded tracks SSL Sub Gen has you covered.

SubGen also offers a sub-bass generation algorithm that naturally blends with your source instrument producing a highly musical sound that is both smooth and intuitive. It features an interactive interface that makes it easy to control the gain width and frequency for each band as well as workflow enhancements such as per-band solo-ing options mix lock and built-in contextual help.

With three tailored saturation modes ("pre" "kick" and "bass") to choose from the gain-compensated drive control allows you to fine-tune harmonic character for different sources seamlessly. You can also modify your sub-bass dynamics with the compressor module that features built-in SSL Compression. The intuitive all-in-one mix lets you blend any combination of your wet and dry signals dial in parallel compression and add punch with ease.
