Employing a wide range of tonal shaping parameters X-Saturator lets you customise the response of your harmonic content to better fit with just about any instrument or mix in your session. Adjust the high-frequency aggression with the Shape control creating a smooth and bold tone at lower values or an aggressive and cutting tone at higher values and adjust the amplitude of your harmonic content in your signal using the Depth control. Centred around the main Drive control X-Saturator has plenty of onboard gain to take bland and sterile digital recordings into vintage-inspired analog-modelled distortion territory.

Filled with performance tools to get the best from your mixing X-Saturator includes a +6dB Boost function providing extra headroom to crank up the distortion and volume without creating unwanted clipping artefacts. In addition input and output metering is available with RMS and Peak Hold values along with Undo / Redo functionality and A/B switching to quickly audition two settings simultaneously.
