It uses a two-stage process to help you push the level without introducing overs or distortion. First the clipping stage trims peaks on a sample-by-sample basis so you can quickly regain headroom without adjusting attack or release settings. You also get multiple clipping modes letting you move from firm limiting to softer saturation depending on your material.

After that the waveshaping booster lifts quieter details while keeping peaks steady helping your mix feel louder and more forward. A built-in alias-reduction system keeps things clean even at lower oversampling settings and the final true peak limiter catches any remaining spikes. Whether youre finishing a master or tightening up a drum bus its a straightforward way to push level while staying in control.
