Raising Jake SideMinder 2

The Raising Jake SideMinder 2 is a stereo width enhancer designed for mixing and mastering tasks. This plugin dynamically enhances and controls the width of stereo signals preventing out-of-phase signals from causing mono compatibility issues. It employs lookahead FIR correlation detectors to manage stereo width only when necessary ensuring a consistently wider soundscape while avoiding polarity inversion. The plugin works on the relative ratios of the mid/side signals leaving the amplitude largely untouched.

SideMinder 2 includes a "Bass Mono" control to centre the stereo image below a selected cutoff frequency providing a more solid sound and stabilizing bass frequencies. Additionally its correlation meter remains active when processing is bypassed allowing visual feedback on stereo imaging before and after use.
