The Raising Jake DRP2a mkII is a dynamic range processor for various audio processing tasks. This plugin emulates the original hardware unit from Rocksonics Professional Audio offering functionalities such as compression expansion gating and limiting. With program-dependent RMS detectors it ensures smooth and musical results and its simplified controls including a single threshold for compression and gating make it easy to set up. The DRP2a mkII includes the same time constants and controls as the hardware unit with a Ratio ranging from 10:1 compression to 1:1.9 expansion and an expander gate for noise gating. Additional features include a side chain input look-ahead functionality and de-essing emphasis. This dynamic processor minimizes CPU load by switching between mono and stereo making it an ideal choice for mixing tasks.
