Arturia Tape Mello-Fi

The Arturia Tape Mello-Fi is a stunning recreation of a tape machine inspired by the classic Mellotron enhanced for modern producers. Simple easy and authentically analog Mello-Fi is the easiest way to add vintage flavour and colour to sterile modern recordings. Divided into two main sections Mello-Fi features an analog-modelled Preamp with controls for Drive Tone and Noise to increase the distortion flatten and smoothen the top-end and add authentic noise and artefacts to your signal. The Tape section includes Flutter and Wow controls to adjust the pitch deviations at varying speeds along with Wear and Mechanics controls to digitally age your tape and add the noise of the tape motor back into your signal.

Just like what would be possible on a real tape machine Tape Mello-Fi includes a Tape Stop function to slow down your recordings to a stop and can sync to the tempo of your host with a range of between 1/4 bar to 8 bars.
