Roy Benson FL402E2 Flute

The Roy Benson FL402E2 Flute is a good quality introductory flute for beginner to intermediate players. This flute is similar to the FL402E the main difference is that this flute comes with both a curved and straight headjoint allowing for easier playing for smaller players. This flute feels great to play thanks to the silver plated keywork it also is more resistant to corrosion as well. The split E mechanism allows for a cleaner tone when you are hitting the high E on the flute and the offset G makes the flute more ergonomic under your fingers when playing the G key.

This instrument makes no compromises on the quality of its construction. The nickel silver headjoint is an excellent material for starting flutes as it keeps the instrument affordable while still having many of the benefits of silver.
