Finished with a special, hand-rubbed stain, the natural wood grain of the body remains visible, giving this model its unique and refined look, while the maple neck has been roasted to maximise stability and coated in satin-gloss to support a smooth and agile playing feel. A single-coil pickup has been planted at both the bridge and middle positions to guarantee a wide range of warm and familiar J-bass-style tone, and the output can be tweaked at will using the mounted controls.
