Korg Volca Drum drum machine

The Korg Volca Drum is a rather special kind of drum machine. That's because, unlike many other drum machines that use samples to make sounds, the Volca Drum creates drum sounds using DSP-powered analogue modelling. Underneath the MIDI input on the control panel, there are wave guide controls that let you adjust the decay, body and tune parameters allowing you to determine the length of percussive sounds. The built-in step sequencer makes it easy to put together entire grooves. Thanks to its design, the Korg Volca Drum gives you the possibility to create many percussive sounds that go far beyond what you'd find on a traditional drum kit.
