Backed up by over seventy years of drum-building experience, the Pearl Rope Tuned Series djembes boast a wide tuning range, so they can be set up to support solo musicians or percussion groups. While the 14 inch diameter makes this djembe the largest in the series, this model features an ABS body to reduce the weight right down and complete a seamless design that features zero weak spots. The material is also far less sensitive to extreme temperatures and humidity levels and the same can be said of the pre-fitted synthetic batter head, which has the same response and playability as a natural hide head, but can be safely played in virtually all conditions. Finished in Molton Scarlett, this djembe also brings some modern style.
