The Casio Celviano AP-550 is a very solid digital piano, a robust presence in the living room. Do not underestimate the brand: with this Celviano, Casio plays along with their competitors. The overall appearance is classy, and the sound is no different. Together with the amplification, you listen to a convincing piano sound. Just to play for fun, or perhaps for piano lessons. For the latter, a piano like this is of course very handy; just think of the volume control and the headphone connectors. That comes in handy when you're not that good yet and you don't want to bother your housemates. In terms of piano sound, all praise; and the sound can even be adjusted a little using understandable piano terms. It won't be the cheapest piano, but with this price level Casio is aiming at the slightly more expensive class, and in terms of content they have been very successful.
