Palmer PDIR 01 Reverse DI box

The Palmer PDIR01 is basically a reverse DI box. Whereas a DI box turns a high-impedance unbalanced signal into a low-impedance balanced signal, this one does the opposite. This is useful when, for example, you want to send a signal from your mixer or interface to a guitar amp. For example, guitar tracks you have previously recorded on your computer, or if you want to experiment. Or to use guitar effects with your mixer. Because your amp, effects pedals, and some other devices, expect a high impedance signal, it is recommended to use such an inverted DI box, or reamp box and not connect your interface directly to it.
