Paiste PST X Swiss Thin Crash 14-inch

This 14-inch Thin Crash cymbal from the Paiste PST X series has an explosive character with a bright, open sound and gorgeous overtones. That's partially down to the holes which also add warmth, and a keep the sustain relatively short. The Thin Crashes have a fast response and an average volume that is suitable for lighter music styles like pop, soul, hip hop and world music. PST X Swiss SeriesCymbals from the Paiste PST X series are made of a B8 alloy, with the exception of the Pure Bells. The holes in the cymbals aren't just for show. The position and size of each hole is carefully calculated by Paiste's Sound Development team for a truly unique sound. While each of the cymbals has its own character, in general, the PST X range has an airy and warm sound that can be explosive too. In contrast, the Pure Bells are made of aluminium and have a softer character.
