The Ahead Hi-Hat Drop Clutch is a high-performance quick release hi-hat drop clutch. This clutch has been designed to be used with professional level hi-hat stands such as the Ahead Mach 1 Series. The quick release mechanism has a spring-loaded lock that slides on and off in less than a second. This allows you to change your timbre instantly during a performance.
Incredibly easy to use. To drop the hi-hat simply pull down on the lever arm. The hi-hats can be re-connected by stepping on the hi-hat pedal.
