This line represents Yamahas desire to deliver a higher standard of clarinet by adding innovative new ideas to their vast experience in classical woodwind instrument-making. In doing so they have produced a clarinet with a beautiful tone rich expressive capabilities throughout the dynamic range and increased user comfort and playability.
A number of improved features - including a redesigned C#/G# key thicker key plating and an adjustable thumb-rest - have succeeded in elevating the quality of sound and in making this an instrument that is comfortable to play for long sessions. Premium Grenadilla body construction gives the YCL-CSVRA a versatile classic sound whilst the silver-plated keyworks boast an effortlessly smooth action. Finished with an elegant R logo engraved on the barrel this is an instrument with an emphasis on refinement at every stage of the design process. Please note that wooden instruments are affected by humidity and temperature and as a result the wood may expand and contract which would affect joints such as the tenons and bell rings.
