Zildjian A0361 21-inch

The 21-inch diameter Zildjian Ultra Hammered China is unique in several ways. What immediately stands out is the hammering of this cymbal. Because of the intensive hammering on the cymbal top and the two circles we see towards the cup, this cymbal has a pronounced 'trashy' sound and a large volume range. A closer look reveals that the cup has a slightly different shape - it looks a bit like the shape of a volcano. And that's how it sounds too! As one of the few cymbals in the A-series, this cymbal has been given a briliant finish. Pitch is relatively high and sustain is short thanks to the thickness of the cymbal. This is because the cymbal has a so-called 'thin weight'.
