The Gewa Idea Original Carbon 2.9 Cello Case is a heavy-duty cello case made of a 100 carbon fibre body that offers the highest torsion resistance lowest weight and best impact absorption possible. This is achieved by adding resin to the carbon fibre material and letting it harden in a special mould to shape it. The hardening takes place under immense pressure and heat which results in the durable and resistant outer shell this case has. This case also has a moderate amount of insulation giving your cello a bit of protection from extreme changes in temperature.
The case features a padded interior which suspends the cello in the case - making bumps and knocks immaterial to your instrument. The soft and plush velour covering inside will ensure your cellos finish is free from scratches and scuffs. You will also find an accessory pocket inside for your rosin or other accessories. The case as a whole is secured with four special locks allowing you the peace of mind that no one will get into your case very easily. Two detachable neoprene backpack straps come with the case for easier carrying. Not that this case is very heavy at only 2.9kg.
