Meinl Artisan Edition Cajon Martinete Line Brazilian Ironwood

The snapping snare sound from the Meinl Artisan Edition Martinete Line Cajon is created from the two sets of ten micro-coiled metal strings. These strings are hand wound in the style of master Cajon builder Jose "Pepote" Hernandez Diaz and each set is adjustable with the included key.

This cleverly designed Cajon has rounded front plate corners and thumb notches allow for greater comfort and playability. On the bottom of the Meinl Martinete Line Cajon are six specially formulated soft rubber feet which prevent it from moving.
