Stuffed with JFET circuits and dynamic clipping stages, the Fender Bassman Driver artfully mimics the sound of a valve-driven bass amplifier on the edge of breakup and comes packed away inside a slim box finished with an aluminium faceplate and a satisfying set of red knobs. The scale of drive sounds on offer is immense, swinging from light tube-style breakup to solid overdrive. Prefer things more vintage, or maybe more modern? Simply toggle the Voice slide switch as needed which, in the modern setting lays on some extra clipping to boost the sound. The Mid slide switch toggles between two pre-set levels of growl while an internal tone control can be tweaked to dictate the trebles. The Level and Gain pots do everything you'd expect and, to polish everything off with some body, the dry sound of your bass can be mixed in via the Blend pot.
