Yamaha FG820-12 NT II 12-String Acoustic Guitar

Yamaha's iconic FG Series is also home to a solid-top 12-string model: the FG820-12. Essentially the same guitar as the standard FG820 with twice as many strings for stunningly bright and rich sound. The FG Series has been around for half a century already and Yamaha have built the series' illustrious reputation by building well-crafted, beautifully-finished guitars and dropping them into affordable price ranges. Compared to its predecessor, this V2 version of the FG820-12 has a bridge and fretboard made of walnut instead of rosewood.Enhanced Sound & ComfortThe FG820 is the follow-up model to the FG720 and features a dreadnought-style mahogany body topped with a solid spruce soundboard that will only sound better with time. Each example has been given the upgrade of scalloped bracing to enhance the overall sound, while improved playing comfort is provided by a slimmer nato neck and rolled fretboard edges.
