First introduced in 1962 as Gibsons second square-shoulder model the Dove quickly became a favourite thanks to its bold looks and balanced articulate sound. This faithful reissue captures the character of the early 60s originals complete with all-solid construction and premium vintage-style appointments throughout. A thermally aged solid spruce top paired with solid figured maple back and sides delivers a clear bright voice with impressive projection and a touch more low-end warmth than a Hummingbird. The one-piece thermally aged mahogany neck features a Rounded profile and a bound Indian rosewood fretboard decorated with split parallelogram mother-of-pearl inlays.
