The Epiphone 1963 Dove Reissue Left-Handed is an Inspired by Gibson Custom recreation of one of the most recognisable acoustic guitars ever made. First introduced in 1962 as Gibsons second square-shoulder model the Dove quickly became a favourite thanks to its bold looks and balanced articulate sound. This faithful reissue captures the character of the early 60s originals complete with all-solid construction and premium vintage-style appointments throughout. A thermally aged solid spruce top paired with solid figured maple back and sides delivers a clear bright voice with impressive projection and a touch more low-end warmth than a Hummingbird. The one-piece thermally aged mahogany neck features a Rounded profile and a bound Indian rosewood fretboard decorated with split parallelogram mother-of-pearl inlays. Classic Dove details appear everywhere: the multi-ply body binding rosewood bridge with dove inlays ornate pickguard and aged mother-of-pearl headstock inlays. Kluson Waffleback tuners ensure vintage-authentic looks and dependable tuning. Onboard L.R. Baggs Element Bronze VTC electronics make the guitar ready for stage and studio use while the included Red Line-inspired hardshell case with Inspired by Gibson Custom graphics completes this standout reissue.
