This Ortega Signature Series KTSM2-5 is a long-scale, five-string bass guitar that you can play either acoustically or amplified. It was designed in consultation with renowned German bassist, Ken Taylor, known for his work with Peter Maffay and as a sought-after session musician. This bass has a solid spruce top and a mahogany body, with beautiful wood designs on the back (flamed mahogany). The rosewood fingerboard got nicely inlaid Roman numerals as position markers, and the headstock design also catches the eye, with 4 + 1 chrome Ortega OTMEB tuners. You can also send the clear sound of this bass guitar to an amplifier or PA rig thanks to the built-in Ortega MagusX/B preamp. You can control tone and volume directly on it, and it also has a tuner. The Ortega Signature Series KTSM2-5 comes complete with a sturdy Signature gig bag.
