Guild have been building acoustic basses since the mid-seventies when they first released the B-50: a modern classic with a comfy jumbo body, arched back and a tight 30.75 inch scale length - all features that have been retained in the form of the more modern and more stage-ready Guild B-240E Natural Westerly electro-acoustic bass. Finished with a solid spruce soundboard and a mahogany body, this bass has a satisfyingly warm and outspoken acoustic sound that would more-than hold its own during acoustic sessions. And since this model comes backed up by a Fishman Bass Sonitone BT-1 preamp system complete with volume and tone controls, that naturally round, vintage-flavoured sound can be amplified in full.
